One of Oakland’s most fabulous and special hidden gems is the Woodminster Amphitheater at Joaquin Miller Park.
Overlooking the bay and surrounded by redwoods, it’s a beautiful setting in which to appreciate the
off-Broadway caliber musicals that go on throughout the summer.
There are picnic areas where you can sit and have a glass of wine and a bite to eat beforehand – then bring a blanket, because the fog does often roll in, and enjoy both the ambiance and the show!
